135 miles through the quiet middle of Wales, from Knighton to Welshpool by way of Machynlleth, following the country of Owain Glyndŵr. Few people walk all of it, which is half the appeal. It shares a few miles of Powys with Offa's Dyke Path, and each trail counts them.
