Mourne Mountains
The granite range in the south-east corner of Northern Ireland, where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea, together with the outlying County Down hills the Database of British and Irish Hills files alongside them. 35 summits on the Marilyn, Simm, Arderin or Vandeleur-Lynam lists, from Slieve Donard at 850 m, the highest point in Ulster, down to Cairngaver at 214 m. Hills that make only the Hump list are left out. The Mourne Wall ties most of the high ones together.
